   The Capacity Planning application produces a statement of actual capacity requirements as generated from either the Realtime Software Package Material Requirements Planning planned orders or the Realtime Software Package Production Control application for released orders, or both. It provides the required information to identify over- and under-loaded locations for both labor and machines.

Capacity Planning also monitors work entering and leaving each work center. It provides the required information to compare the actual work rates against the work rates expected, indicating any variances.

Specific features of the Capacity Planning application include:

bulletTime-phased labor hours and machine capacities for work center loads
bulletLoad profile segregated by released orders, planned orders, and firm orders
