The Routing application organizes information defining an item's manufacturing process or routing. This includes the work center-standard-production rate-operation relationship to identify added labor value, added machine value, and added outside processing value. When this application is interfaced with the Realtime Software Package - Cost Control application, value-added costs can be rolled-up automatically through the bills of material to determine the labor, machine, and outside processing contribution to the product costs. When this application is interfaced with the Realtime Software Package - Production Control application, order sequences with operation start dates and due dates are described. When this application is interfaced with the Realtime Software Package - Capacity Planning application, shop loads can be calculated.
