The Work in Process application monitors the status of production work orders as they move through the shop. As labor is reported, material is moved and/or operations are completed, work order status is updated instantly

Work in Process is fully integrated with the Bill of Materials, Routing, Cost Control, Material Requirements Planning, Master Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Labor Distribution, Payroll, General Ledger, Inventory Control and Purchasing applications.

Specific features of the Work in Process application include:

bulletWork Center Dispatch List showing not only progress of orders already in that work center but also the status and priority of orders coming from any preceding operation -- available as on-line display as well as printed report
bulletOutside operation maintenance without a purchase order
bulletOption of charging WIP with earned or actual hours
bulletOperation move reporting with ability to overlap and split lots
bulletDaily and period-end labor transaction register with actual Vs standard variance reporting; can also be used for time and attendance reporting for payroll purposes
bulletMachine and tool usage, miscellaneous charge and scrap transaction registers
bulletWIP valuation reports

All entry, maintenance, deletions, displays and reports are on-line, interactive and automatically recorded on easy to use Audit Trails.
