The Engineering Change application provides
management with complete control to implement engineering
changes and new products efficiently and effectively.
The Engineering Change application functions in its own
self-contained files until an engineering change is accepted
and approved for the manufacturing function.
The tracking of a change order within this application begins
with a change request format, moves the request through a
series of maintenance functions to change components, and
routings - then finally to an acceptance stage to transfer
data from the engineering change files to the manufacturing
files. Any pending changes will be flagged to the user
throughout the system for timely, accurate decision making.
Specific features of the Engineering Change
application include:
 | Engineering change request maintenance including
unlimited text |
